Web / NAS review publication
NASCompares publishes detailed reviews, software walkthroughs, comparisons, and buying guides for network-attached storage hardware.
Visit sourceNASCompares reports that the DXP4800GT supports ECC memory but did not include it in the review unit. The author also flags eMMC system storage as a complication for third-party OS installation and says U.2 drives were not tested. These distinctions matter when comparing an upgrade option with an included component or a tested result.
Open original workNASCompares found the DXP4800 Plus hardware more complete than its beta software in March 2024. Its sample lacked container and virtual-machine applications and showed inconsistent SMB behavior. This is evidence about a pre-release unit, not a description of current UGOS. Compare the software date as well as the hardware when using this review.
