Product Overview
Xiaomi Tag gives one small tracker a choice of the two largest phone-based finding networks. It clips directly to keys or luggage, runs for more than a year on a replaceable coin cell, and can sound a buzzer when an item is nearby. It must be assigned to either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub rather than both at once, and its Bluetooth-only design does not provide UWB directional finding.
What Stands Out
The same 10g tag can be set up with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, while a built-in loop, replaceable battery, and IP67 rating keep the hardware simple to live with.
Why It Matters
A low-cost tracker no longer has to be permanently tied to one phone ecosystem, giving households and platform switchers more choice without adding a Xiaomi-only app network.
Best For
Android or Apple users who want an inexpensive, replaceable-battery tracker for keys, bags, or luggage and do not need UWB precision finding.
Not For
Anyone who needs simultaneous Apple and Google network coverage, directional UWB guidance, built-in GPS, real-time safety tracking, or guaranteed US availability.
Things to Know
The €14.99 figure is a regional product reference. Price, packs, color, warranty, and availability vary, and the product was not officially sold in the US in independent testing.
Choose either Google Find Hub or Apple Find My during setup. The two networks do not work simultaneously, and switching networks requires unbinding and resetting the tag.
There is no UWB or built-in GPS. Nearby finding uses Bluetooth and the buzzer, so it does not provide on-screen directional arrows.
Some functions differ by network: NFC lost-mode lookup and left-behind alerts are documented for Apple Find My, while anti-tracking support depends on the selected network.
IP67 applies only under stated laboratory conditions. Avoid beach or pool use, do not open the battery cover while wet, and expect protection to decline with wear or damage.
