Product Overview

WATCH GT 7 Pro puts sport-specific navigation and a long battery cycle into a substantial titanium watch. Its cycling tools show the route and climbs ahead, while offline maps support outdoor sessions. The tradeoff is a large case and a more limited app ecosystem, with phone and regional service dependencies to check.

What Stands Out

Route importing, climb information and turn alerts give cycling a dedicated interface. Offline maps and outdoor modes extend the same training focus beyond the bike.

Why It Matters

Huawei's premium-watch approach prioritizes training and time between charges. It offers a distinct choice for people who value those tools more than cellular independence or a broad app catalog.

Best For

Runners, cyclists and outdoor sport enthusiasts who prefer a large watch and can confirm Huawei Health support on their phone.

Not For

Small-wrist users, standalone cellular calling, or people whose decision depends on a large third-party smartwatch app ecosystem.

Things to Know

The UK specifications list a 140–210mm wrist range. Try the fit: the body is 45.6 × 45.6 × 11.25mm and approximately 55.5g without its strap.

Huawei rates up to 21 days of light use, 12 days of typical use and 7 days with the always-on display under different lab profiles. Notebookcheck's supplied review sample lasted about 10 days with AOD and measurements enabled; navigation drains it faster. These are different conditions, not a guaranteed runtime.

Android 9 or later and iOS 13 or later are listed, but app installation, replies, payments and other services depend on the phone and region. Bluetooth calls need a nearby paired phone; there is no eSIM. Notebookcheck experienced intermittent payment failures.

Skiing modes are manufacturer-described features; Notebookcheck tested cycling but could not test skiing because of the season. Download required maps before heading out, and keep an independent navigation plan.

Wellness readings are for personal reference. Check the regional eligibility of ECG and other services rather than assuming every advertised function is available.

Follow Huawei's water-care guidance. Avoid hot showers, saunas, scuba or technical diving; water resistance can decline with wear. Check local warranty, service and package contents. The UK specification includes a charging cradle, while a wall power adapter is not listed.
