A self-flying camera for water sports, with a floating body and an arm-worn Lighthouse tracker.
Why take a closer look
The floating body and wearable tracker make AQUA a different proposition from a camera fixed to your board: it can follow from a distance while you paddle. The tradeoff is another aircraft to operate, retrieve, clean, and charge.
Best suited to open-water filming rather than obstacle-filled routes. Digital Camera World tested its water recovery and tracking, while noting awkward battery fitting and shorter endurance than some land-focused drones.
What to know
The Standard bundle includes the aircraft, one battery, Lighthouse with armband, a USB-C cable, repair kit, and waterproof battery bag.
The Lighthouse combines wearable controls with position tracking; it is separate from the optional Beacon and JoySticks controller setup.
Internal storage is 128GB with no external memory-card slot. Make room for the next outing by transferring footage first.
Before choosing
AQUA does not actively steer around obstacles. Choose clear surroundings and follow the model's operating instructions; subject tracking is not a collision guarantee.
Water operation requires intact seals, a passed waterproof self-check, OmniTerrain enabled, and a stable Lighthouse signal. The safety guide says not to take off from a moving boat or platform.
A removed battery is not waterproof. Keep its connector dry and rinse the aircraft with fresh water after saltwater use, following the manufacturer's care instructions.
Ask for the AQUA-specific warranty and regional repair process. A water-resistance rating does not, by itself, explain what a particular damage claim will cover or who pays shipping.
