Why take a closer look
Capture the scene around the drone, then choose forward, rearward, or overhead views in the edit. This makes one flight useful for several compositions instead of one fixed camera angle.
Best for creators comfortable editing 360-degree footage. Cropping reduces the detail available in each view; a conventional camera drone is a better fit if you want a finished frame straight from the flight.
What to know
Records a full 360-degree view at up to 8K/30fps. That resolution covers the whole scene, not every reframed crop.
Weighs 249g with the standard battery or 291g with the high-capacity battery. Rated flight times are 24 and 39 minutes respectively under the manufacturer's test conditions.
The Standard Bundle includes the A1, Vision Goggles, Grip Motion Controller, and one standard flight battery.
Tom's Guide tested the high-capacity battery for approximately 35 minutes and found the controls approachable, while noting the premium price and image-quality tradeoffs.
Before choosing
Choose the battery and bundle deliberately: extra runtime adds weight, and goggles add equipment to carry.
Check repair coverage, replacement-lens costs, and current app support in your region before choosing a kit.
Obstacle avoidance depends on light, weather, and obstacle shape. Brake is the default; Bypass must be selected again after a restart. The aircraft is not waterproof.
